I'm reviewing the album for MOJO... the whole thing is pretty good, some intriguing, quirky material and some embarrassing. Ace have done a really good job of tracking this stuff down.

THe PRime Movers song is better than I expected... ie his singing is a little like Iggy, way better than the Iguanas tracks on which he sang. But really, more of historic interest than a song to love. What white boy could out-do Muddy Waters on this? (Which might well be the reason he formed the Stooges).

Great Prime Movers interview with Michael Erlewine, band member and founder of AMG, at the excellent I-94 Bar website:

A2 is a nickname for Ann Arbor for those who don't know...

Enjoy!
