My daughter shot this for me at All Tomorrow's Parties in Minehead in 2006. The stage was pretty dark throughout, no follow spot either. Sound quality is pretty good though I think.

Thanks for your kind words TED. There are some clearer clips from this gig on YouTube but for me these ones really capture the experience.

The venue capacity was about 3000 but down the front it felt like a club gig. Small stage, low ceiling, poor lighting. It was like seeing them at Astoria 2.

waow sounds amazing, i like more intimate venues, and stooges are amazing at intimate, well both large and small gigs are good for stooges, theres just so much energy
i hope for the ew album they do 'proper' smaller gigs, in concert halls and stuff, and not out door things, really small venues would be good
and hopefully the new album would be good _________________ Away Beyond The Ishkabob And Over The Propran Sea You'll Find A Place Called Stoogeland Where Very Soon You'll Be

I think the smallest venue I've ever seen Iggy in was Astoria 2, holds 1000 people. This was just after Avenue B came out.

Sorry, that's rubbish. I saw him in a much smaller venue the first time I saw him in 1979. Colchester University can't be bigger than 600 people. Astoria 2 is the smallest London venue I've seen him in though.
