| Yup - sounded like the Iggy mx to me too. Interestingly the needle seemed to be about half way across the record, rather than near the outside which is where it ought to have been if it had really been playing "S&D". And... when the smoke monster peered into Sawyer's house earlier in the episode he was playing the same song then. He must really like it...
Am I taking this just a wee bit too seriously?

I'm not very serious about "Lost" and watched maybe 2 episodes, but I am very serious about "Search and Destroy"!
My vote says no, this does require attention, be as serious as you desire.
