PostSubject: JW one-handed audition   Mon Jun 07, 2010 6:06 pm

My memory ain't what it used to be...Many years ago I read an Iggy interview in a guitar magazine, where he claimed that when James Williamson auditioned for the Stooges he played the guitar one-handed! Probably another one of Uncle Jim's Tall Tales, but impressive anyway - just wondered if anyone else remembers this anecdote?
Also (again many years ago) I bought an Iggy and the Stooges live bootleg on cassette (!) at a record fair. No details of course, but it was the Raw Power Stooges judging by the set they played. Anyways, I remember Iggy announcing the song as '..I wanna search 'em - and destroy 'em...' or words to that effect. Does this ring a bell with anyone...?
