Id love to do it, but only if its something that we all feel is in keeping with the level of the quality that weve done before.

If we're quoting I like this part:
It must have been weird for you in the ensuing decades to watch the endless debate about the mix of the album, with superfans passing around bootlegs of the alleged original rough mixes, that sort of thing.

You know, it is kind of weird, and frankly Im happy that Sony/Columbia has re-released the original mix, because I think historically thats an important thing. But if it was up to me, Id just release all the tracks and let the guy who buys it mix it for themselves. I mean, its like why are we arguing about this for 30 years?

funny Ted,

..I wrote James an email I sent James some weeks ago:

Quote :
My idea is to release the multitracks for the 8 songs, so the fans can mix their own Raw Power.
Several other artists have done that, for example David Bowie with his Space Oddity.
Is there a chance that might happen some day?
It'll end all whining about "I can't hear the Ashetons" or "Iggy mixed his voice way up front" once and for all.

his answer was:
Thanks for the thoughts, but it's extremely unlikely to happen although who knows stranger things have.

Best,

james
