Since these are just clippings cut out in the past, I can't determine exact dates except the first Creem article is probably late 1972.

From Creem magazine...

From Circus magazine...

From unknown magazine...

And some general pics...

Creem April 1974
(Sorry, I no longer have the original cover and had to find one off the web)

Sometime early on, I cut a section out of this first page.
I believe it said, "Iggy & The Stooges take America by the spleen"

The articles I've posted are from a scrapbook I've kept through the years. That's all the vintage articles in it (however, I do have a pile of old rock magazines that might have a few things in them). All that's left in the scrapbook is Iggy solo stuff circa 1977-1986.

However, I have a MASSIVE article on The Stooges from the March 1995 issue of Goldmine. This is THE BEST article I've ever read on The Stooges. I will post that soon but it'll take me a while to scan it.

Yep! It seems like there's always something else to be found...
(I'm trying to translate three articles/interviews, but I don't know if I'll manage to finish  )

An interview of Iggy from 2003, where he talks mostly about Skull Ring ; an interview with Iggy where he talks about the Stooges and his career (August 2005) ; an interview of Iggy about The Weirdness, from April 2007, with a little interview of James Williamson ("I think I'm still a Stooge"). I'm trying the second, because it's for me the most interesting. If someone thinks he/she can translate, I can post the original articles in French.

It seems the only problem with that one is the graininess(sp?) for which there is little I can do due to the small size. Almost anything I can do will result in a slight blur. However, I did try a couple different techniques. Each slightly different.

Actually, I'm from Port Clinton, Ohio. Near the Lake Erie islands and the Cedar Point amusement park. I'm east of Toledo (45 miles) and west of Cleveland (75 miles).
